What is the reason for the noise of AC contactor ?

Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 631

Reasons and treatment methods of noise produced by AC contactor in operation sometimes are as follows:

1. The first reason is that the short-circuit ring of the suction armature is broken. The function of the short-circuit ring is to maintain a certain suction between the dynamic armature and the static armature when the alternating current passes zero, so as to eliminate the vibration between the dynamic armature and the static armature. Therefore, if the short circuit ring is broken, it will vibrate and make noise.

The treatment is to replace the short circuit ring.

2. The second reason is the "interface" between armature, which is polluted between static and dynamic armature, unclean and noisy.

The treatment method is simple and can be wiped clean, but be careful not to cause deep scratches between the "interfaces".

Scope of application of different models:

1. CJX2 series AC contactors are mainly used in power systems with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated working voltage to 660V, rated working current to 370A to turn on and turn off circuits, and can be combined with appropriate thermal overload relays or electronic protection devices to form electromagnetic starters to protect circuits that may overload. The product meets and IEC 60947-4-1 standards.

2. CJX2 AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors) are mainly used in power systems with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated working voltage up to 660V, rated working voltage 380V under AC-3 usage category and rated working current up to 110A for long-distance connection and disconnection circuits, and with appropriate thermal overload relays. Or an electronic protection device is combined into an electromagnetic starter to protect a circuit that may overload during operation. Compliance standard:, IEC 60947-4-1.

3. CJX2 series AC contactors are mainly used for AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated working voltage to 1000V, rated working current to 475A circuit when rated working voltage is 380V under AC-3 usage category, for long-distance switching on and off circuit or frequent starting and control of AC motor, and can be composed of appropriate thermal overload relay. Electromagnetic starter to protect circuit that may overload. The products meet the standards of GB14048.4 and IEC 60947-4-1.

4. CJX2 series AC contactors are used in power systems with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated working voltage to 660V, rated working voltage 380V under AC-3 usage category? Rated working current to 95A for long-distance switching on and off circuit, frequent starting and control of AC motors. It can also be combined with CJX2 or other appropriate thermal relays or electronic protection devices to form an electromagnetic starter to protect circuits that may overload or phase break. Compliance standard: IEC 60947-4-1.

5. CJX2 series AC contactors are mainly used for AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated insulation voltage 690V. Under AC-3 usage category, rated working voltage 380V, rated working current 620A power system, for long-distance switching on and off circuit and frequent starting and control of AC motors. It can also be combined with appropriate thermal overload relay or electronic protection device to form an electromagnetic starter to protect the circuit that may overload.
