Third Party Certification Process For Lighting Electrical Ready Board
As a low-voltage switchgear, the quality and safety of lighting electrical ready boards are crucial, and third-party certification is a key link to ensure product compliance. The following is the general certification process:
1、 Certification application
Enterprises need to submit applications to qualified third-party certification agencies. They can apply online through the certification agency's official website or submit paper application forms on-site. When applying, it is necessary to provide basic information such as the business license and organization code certificate of the enterprise, as well as detailed information such as product technical parameters, instructions, design drawings, etc. For example, when applying to the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), one needs to register an account on the CQC official website, fill in the application information as required, and upload the materials.
2、 Data review
After receiving the application materials, the certification body will conduct an audit within the prescribed time (usually 5 working days). If the information does not meet the requirements, the company will be notified to supplement and improve it. After the data review is approved, the certification body will develop a certification plan, specifying the certification mode, testing items, required fees, and other contents.
3、 Sample testing
The enterprise prepares samples as required and sends them to the designated laboratory. The laboratory conducts electrical safety, protection level, mechanical strength and other testing on the samples in accordance with relevant standards such as GB 7251.3-2006. The testing time for different products varies, generally not exceeding 30 working days. If there are environmental testing projects, an additional 10 working days may be appropriately extended. If the inspection fails, the enterprise shall rectify and conduct a re examination within the prescribed period.
4、 Factory inspection (in some cases)
After passing the type test, some certification modes may require factory inspection. Inspectors will review the quality management system and production process control of the enterprise to ensure product consistency and stability.
5、 Certification result evaluation and approval
After receiving complete information (including application materials, testing reports, factory inspection reports, etc.), the certification body conducts a comprehensive evaluation. If the evaluation is qualified, a certification certificate will be issued; if it is unqualified, the certification will be terminated. After obtaining certification, enterprises can affix certification marks on their products to prove that they comply with relevant standards.
