1. Conceptual distinction

Therefore, it is generally used as the distribution equipment with medium capacity load, including the distribution box, motor, etc. its applicable capacity varies in various process fields, generally in several kilowatts to dozens of kilowatts. On the basis of leakage protection and short-circuit protection provided by traditional distribution box, it also provides over-voltage protection, ignition and power-off, lightning protection, automatic power supply, temperature protection, power limit, fault record, self-test function, learning and memory, mobile Internet visualization and digitization.

 

2. Functional differentiation

 

In short, the distribution box is called distribution box. The distribution box is mainly used for the control and distribution of electrical equipment, and for the protection of overload, short circuit and leakage of lines. The distribution box is installed in various places, such as schools, institutions, hospitals, factories, workshops, families, etc., such as lighting distribution box, power distribution box, etc. The distribution box is small in size, can be hidden in the wall, and can stand on the ground.

Difference between control box and distribution box

 

The control box is suitable for factories, mines, enterprises, shopping malls, hotels, schools, airports, ports, hospitals, high-rise buildings, living quarters and other occasions. In the low-voltage power grid system with AC 50 Hz and rated working voltage of AC 380 V, it is used for power and lighting distribution and motor control. It is suitable for indoor wall mounted and outdoor floor mounted distribution equipment. The control box is also suitable for power system with AC 50 Hz and voltage below 500 V as fire pump control, submersible pump control, fire fan control, fan control, lighting distribution control, etc. the control modes include direct start control, star delta step-down start control, automatic step-down start control, inverter start control, soft start control, etc, The disconnector and fuse switch can also be used as the disconnecting point.

 

According to the requirements of electrical wiring, the distribution box is to assemble the switchgear, measuring instruments, protective appliances and auxiliary equipment in a closed or semi closed metal cabinet or panel to form a low-voltage distribution device. During normal operation, the circuit can be turned on or off with the help of manual or automatic switch. In case of fault or abnormal operation, cut off the circuit or give an alarm with the help of protective appliances. By means of measuring instruments, various parameters in operation can be displayed, and some electrical parameters can be adjusted to prompt or send signals for deviation from normal working state. It is commonly used in power generation, distribution and substation.
