Difference between normally open contact and normally closed contact of AC contactor

The function of AC contactor is to control the contact on and off according to the power on and power off of electromagnetic coil. When power on, the contact will change from normally open to normally closed, and the normally closed will break.

What is the function of normally open and normally closed contact after AC contactor is closed? Some AC contactors only have normally open contacts, the main contacts are normally open, the auxiliary contacts are all practical, no normally open, NC normally closed.

AC contactor contacts are divided into:

1. Main contact, often open contact, large current carrying capacity of cable, mostly used to control motor starting.

2. Auxiliary normally open contact, with auxiliary function, can be used to lock, transmit data signal and other power circuit functions.

3. Auxiliary normally closed contact, which can complete the linkage function in complex power supply circuit, is sometimes used as motor self-locking interlock; generally, for example, AC contactor, cjx2-6511, means that the main contact is allowed to have a pair of auxiliary normally open contacts and a pair of auxiliary normally closed contacts according to the larger current amount of 65A, and cjx2-3210 is the main contact. It is allowed to have a pair of normally open contacts and no normally closed contacts according to the current amount of 32A.

Select different AC contactors according to different power circuit regulations:

The first 1 means the auxiliary normally open contact, if it is 1, there will be, if it is 0, there will be No. the second 1 means the auxiliary normally closed contact, if it is 1, there will be No.
